Amplitude pump track in Bali is a must visit if you’re a skater and need a break from the bars and beaches.
We brought our skates with us, so booked a driver for the day to go out and explore some skate parks.
The van arrived and we got some beers and googled our first skate park destination, which seemed like a cool indoor park. We got lost multiple times trying to find this warehouse. Eventually we find the skate park. But unfortunately the front door was chained shut.
We banged on the door yelling HELLO!!.. until an old man came out. We asked if we could come in to have a look at the skate park.
This park had been closed down for quite some time and they are using it as a storage space with so many chairs in the bowl and random items throughout the park.
We offered the old man 1 million Bali Rupee to have a skate on the park, but the old man just shook his head and said no, the boss said no one can use the park. So we piled back into the van and had a quick stop for some beers while we worked out where else we could skate.
We finally found out about a pump track with a skatepark at it called Amplitude. So we all jump back into the van and head there with the quickness.
Once we get there Chris eyes of this huge gap from the pump track to the little bowl.
But unfortunately washes out on the landing into the bowl.
The skate park had some fun little quarters with rails running along the back.
Brad launched out of the bowl and stuck a sav along the rail.
Josh having a play on the entrance rail with this soul grind.
Brad was getting some mad boost on the quarter pipe
So Brad and Chris did a crossover
The park also has a fun ledge which Chris got a back shifty up and down the ledge.
It was super hot at the park so we didn’t use the pump track too much, as the sun was just burning us all so fast. So we waited for the sun to go down a little bit and had some beers in the meantime.
Now this is my type of skate park ha ha so good you can buy beer at the canteen they have there.
As the sun was going down Chris got some tricks on this ledge.
To finish off the session Chris hit this gap. Which was from the pump track to the skate park but not as huge as the first gap he tried. But he landed this one first go!
